Regular Membership

The Regular Member is the individual who has undertaken all obligations required by membership and enjoys membership rights. Subject to meeting the necessary conditions, the regular member is eligible for any kind of candidacy and has voting rights at the General Assembly. The regular member must personally exercise their voting right and cannot delegate it to another. Their obligations include participating in established or forthcoming work units, activities, and general assembly meetings, paying dues on time, and conducting necessary work in line with the principles, objectives, and service conditions of the association.   • Opportunity for academic members to join the Orffder Academicians Platform.

  • Right to receive free consultancy service for creating Orff-Schulwerk classes.

  • Consultancy service for international courses organized in the field of                               Orff-Schulwerk worldwide.

Corporate Membership

AThe Principal Member is the person who assumes all the obligations required by membership and benefits from the membership rights. The Principal Member is entitled to stand for any position, subject to compliance with the necessary conditions, and has voting rights at the General Assembly. The Principal Member must personally exercise their voting rights and cannot appoint a proxy. Their obligations include participating in established or to-be-established work units, events, and general assembly meetings, paying dues on time, and undertaking necessary tasks in line with the association's principles, goals, and service conditions (For detailed information on membership rights, please refer to the association's bylaws).

Membership Benefits

  • Advantage of being informed about courses and events before everyone else.

  • Free participation in weekend courses (excluding long-term courses) for one employee of the corporate member.

  • 0% discount on all paid courses and events for 4 employees of the corporate member.

  • Free participation in Sharing Days for employees of the corporate member.

  • Free access to Orffdergi, published online via the website, for employees of the corporate member (It is mandatory for departing employees to inform the association).

  • Free participation in the Orffder Orchestra - Elementary Music and Dance Community for employees of the corporate member.

  • Right to receive free consultancy services on creating an Orff-Schulwerk class.

  • A corporate membership certificate approved by the Carl Orff Foundation, which the corporate member can use as long as they are a member.                    (​This document does not grant the right or permission to organize teacher training for the corporation. The right to conduct teacher training can only be obtained with the licensed permission of the Carl Orff Foundation, independently of Orffder.)

Honorary Membership

An honorary member is selected from individuals who have served humanity, science, and society in line with the association's goals and services, provided both financial and moral support to initiatives in the Orff-Schulwerk approach, and are esteemed and respected in the community. They are chosen based on the recommendation of the board of directors or association members and with the decision of the association's board of directors. Individuals who have provided significant support to the association and are esteemed to be part of it may be nominated for honorary membership. Honorary members do not have the right to vote or be elected. However, they may attend the General Assembly and make suggestions if they wish. They are not obliged to make any payments, but they may choose to make voluntary donations.
